Maharashtra ACB to create a Facebook page on corrupt officials

The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is planning an innovative way of checking corruption - by creating a Facebook page and uploading the pictures of those caught taking bribes.

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is planning an innovative way of checking corruption - by creating a Facebook page and uploading the pictures of those caught taking bribes.
Director General of Police (ACB) Pravin Dixit said, "In a bid to intensify our action against the corrupt and reach out to the masses, we are planning to use the popular social network platform Facebook in a week`s time."
According to reports, the picture will also have the name of the accused and the bribe he or she was caught accepting.
