Prostitution racket busted in Thane

Thane: Thane police have arrested two
persons for allegedly running a brothel in Upvan locality of
the city, and are on the look-out for two others.

A team, headed by Police Inspector UP Suradkar of the
Social Security Cell, raided Green Park Lodge (Satyam)
recently.

Police arrested managers Sunil HVarkute (26) and
Pushkhraj G Hegde (39).

The police also rescued 16 girls who were employed in the
flesh-trade, Suradkar said.
