Nagpur: On the second day of Maharashtra
Legislature winter session on Wednesday, both the Houses witnessed
ruckus over the 26/11 Pradhan Committee report and were
adjourned six times.

When proceedings began, Chief Minister Ashok Chavan made
it clear that the "leaked" report of the Pradhan Committee is
not the same as the original report.
"The copy given to me by the opposition has no relation
with the four copies we have. No photo copy of the original
report went out," Chavan informed the legislative Council,
replying to the issue raised by Opposition leaders.

"We will still check the copy with the original report
and I have given it to the Home Minister for verification,"
Chavan said, adding that the Home Minister would reply the
issue on Monday.

Replying to the repeated demand to table the report, the
chief minister said, "I had already said publicising the
report should not affect the ongoing 26/11 trial."

The government has tabled all the important points of the
Pradhan Committee report and action to be taken report in the
House and a detailed discussion was also held on it, Chavan
said.
Leader of Opposition in the Council, Pandurang Phundkar
moved an adjournment motion and demanded discussion on the
leakage of the report. He said the government refused to table
the report but it was leaked to media.

Chairman of the House Shivajirao Deshmukh rejected the
adjournment motion by the Opposition after the chief
minister`s clarification.

The Opposition tried to disrupt the proceedings of the
Council and the House was adjourned six times. The assembly
was also adjourned six times on the same issue.

Shiv Sena, who yesterday moved a breach of privilege
motion against the chief minister, deputy chief minister,
chief secretary, additional chief secretary and Ram Pradhan,
gave a copy of the `leaked report` to Chavan.
