Gadchiroli: The government-run primary school at village Nadekal in the Naxal-affected Korchi taluka of the district has not opened since July 1.
Parents from the village yesterday met the Block Development Officer R D Meshram and requested him to start the school immediately.
Panchayat Samiti had arranged to shift two teachers from Bedgaon school to Nadekal temporarily, said Suwarna Dantale, Block Education Officer.
The new teachers are expected to join on Monday.
There are as many as 28 students on the rolls. Two teachers appointed earlier came only for four days and did not turn up after July 1, locals said.
Most students come from tribal families.
Action had been sought against the two erring teachers, said Dantale.
