Tired of neighbour`s `adultery` charges, woman kills self in Pune

A 29-year-old mother set herself ablaze after repeated torture by her neighbour who allegedly used to accuse her of adultery. The neighbour used to suspect that the victim is having an extra-marital affair with the former’s son.

Pune: A 29-year-old mother of two children set herself ablaze after repeated torture by her neighbour who allegedly used to accuse her of adultery. The neighbour used to suspect that the victim is having an extra-marital affair with the former’s son.
The deceased has been identified as Radha Vitkar (29), a resident of Atmanagar Society in Pimpri. The incident came to light, when the deceased’s husband Kumar (34) lodged a complaint against neighbour Shashikala Shinge (50) and her son Ravi (25) at Pimpri police station. No arrests have been made yet.
