Youth arrested for murder in Thane

Thane: A 20-year-old youth was arrested for allegedly murdering owner of a medical shop, where he was employed, police said.

The victim Ganesh Abhange (28) owned a medical shop in the town and where accused Amit Sharma was employed, A V Muthe of Virar police station said.
He said that the two used to quarrel frequently over petty issues.

The arrested accused and another employee killed Abhange and dumped his body in the nullah yesterday morning. The incident came to light later in the day, after which, police began the probe.
Another accused Sashikant Sharma is absconding, police said.
