Maharashtra: It seemed to be a bad day for media offices as two prominent news channels including Zee 24 Taas in Maharashtra came under attack of goons associated to saffron outfits.
A furious mob of alleged Shiv Sena activists ransacked the Zee 24 Taas office, Kolahpur on late Friday.
The mob destroyed office property as well as fought with the security guards. Some of the security personnel were seriously injured.
The mob was angry about a live show on the channel on the Belgaum issue. They also attacked some of the guests from Karnataka, who were invited by Zee 24 Taas.
Police reached the spot and assured on their part that they will investigate the entire matter and will not let those responsible escape.
