Ajmal Kasab, an accused in the Mumbai attacks case, who was produced in the court today, reiterated that he was not a terrorist involved in the 26/11 terror carnage.
He told the court that it was not him in the picture that was captured by the CCTV cameras and that he was not carrying a weapon.

Nothing significant emerged from the statements he gave to the court today as he minced no words in repeating old drama.

The court resumed today after Christmas break, and questioned Kasab as the 26/11 terror trial resumed again.

Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam had apprised the media yesterday that Kasab will be quizzed on the basis of DNA reports given by ballistic experts who opined that the bullets fired from Kasab`s AK-47 rifle had caused fatal injuries to the victims’ bodies.

Nikam also added that this scientific evidence will falsify the accused’ "fabricated" story that he had not fired on the people.

Ajmal Kasab-the sole terrorist who was caught alive when terror struck Mumbai on November 26, 2008 is charged with gunning down 166 persons.
