`A silent Anna should go to the Himalayas’

Rajendra Singh, who quit Team Anna due to differences over its political approach, on Saturday said the members can`t think deep.

Kanpur: Rajendra Singh, who quit Team Anna due to differences over its political approach, on Saturday said Anna Hazare`s anti-corruption movement has got deviated from its way because his team members cannot think deep and clearly.

He also advised Hazare to go to the Himalayas if he wishes to become a saint by taking a vow of silence. Talking to reporters here, he said, "When so many questions were being raised over Hazare`s team members, he should have talked to the people directly and given befitting reply. But Anna chose to remain silent. If he wants to become a saint, he should go to Himalayas."

He claimed that due to Team Anna`s anti-Congress campaign in Hisar bypolls, corrupt won and honest candidates lost the battle.
Singh, popularly known as `Waterman`, said he and PV Rajgopal dissociated themselves from Hazare`s movement as it had "deviated from its objective".
