Ayodhya verdict should be accepted by all: Karat

Communist Party of India-Marxist general secretary Prakash Karat Thursday said that the Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya due Sep 24 should be accepted and respected by everyone across the country.

Patna: Communist Party of India-Marxist general secretary Prakash Karat Thursday said that the Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya due Sep 24 should be accepted and respected by everyone across the country.

"We are of the view that the court verdict should be applicable to all," Karat told newspersons here.
Karat, who was here on a two-day visit to attend a party function, said that the court verdict on the Ayodhya title suit has to be accepted by all.

He said his party was awaiting the verdict, and if any party was not satisfied with the judgment it would appeal to a higher court, he said.
The much-awaited verdict in the 125-year-old Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute in Ayodhya is to be pronounced by a special bench of the Allahabad High Court Sep 24.
