New Delhi: Attacking the UPA for "insulting
people`s mandate" by allegedly spreading corruption, Bharatiya
Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Thursday accused the Congress of not
doing any development work in the country.
Addressing an election rally in Chakrata in Uttarakhand,
BJYM President Anurag Thakur said, "Only corruption has
increased in the Congress regime and it is evident from the
fact that a number of its ministers are behind bars."
Thakur said, "the so called youth party (Congress) has
insulted people`s mandate by indulging in corruption and
paying lip services in the name of development".
He was campaigning for BJP candidate Kamla Chauhan.
Thakur asked people to support the ruling BJP in the hill
state to ensure development in all sectors.
He said the BJP government in Uttarakhand successfully
introduced the Lokayukta in the state, which was praised by
even Anna Hazare.
