New Delhi: With Parliament disrupted over 2-G Spectrum issue for the third day, the CPI-M on Monday said the government`s indecisiveness was to be blamed for the situation, even as it supported Opposition demand for JPC probe into the scam.
"We are not opposed to JPC probe when all Opposition parties are demanding it. Since A Raja is no more a Minister, this provides an opportunity for a full-fledged, serious probe into the Spectrum scam," CPI-M politburo member Sitaram Yechury told reporters outside Parliament House here.
"This is not a ordinary scam going by the way the systems have been manipulated. There are a lot of persons and institutions involved in the scam and it is necessary go deep into the conspiracy," he added.
Noting that the government "is to be blamed" for the disruption of Parliament, Yechury said the Opposition should not be blamed for it.
"If Raja had resigned before the Parliament session began, things would have been entirely different. Why did they have to wait for this long if this is what has to happen. So it is government`s indecisiveness that is leading to this situation," he added.
