New Delhi: Reports said on Saturday the government and Team Anna held discussions on a joint statement. According to sources, the statement will be approved by Anna Hazare before it is released.
Team Anna members met Law Minister Salman Khurshid at his residence for the second time in two days to finalise the statement.
The two sides had held talks on the joint statement last night also.
Khurshid had last night said, “There are no commitments, only a hope that once Parliament debates these issues, Anna will call off his fast."
The Parliament will today hold debates in both Houses on Lokpal Bill.
