Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde asserted that he was not weak as portrayed by the opposition, and had proved his mettle by taking tough decisions.

Solapur: Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Sunday asserted that he was not weak as portrayed by the opposition, and had proved his mettle by taking tough decisions.

Addressing a rally of Youth Congress at Veronica High School ground here in his hometown, Shinde said the opposition had spread propaganda about him.
"I have always taken tough decisions from time to time. It is the opposition parties which diverted the attention of people and made false allegations," he said.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had taken a vow to eradicate corruption from the country, and that was why the Lokpal Bill got passed in the Parliament, he said.
