Mumbai: Major General Sanjeev Chopra has
taken charge as General Officer Commanding Maharashtra,
Gujarat and Goa Area here.
Chopra assumed the charge yesterday, replacing Major
General R K Hooda, who has been posted to Integrated
Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) as Director General
Mechanised Forces, a Defence release said today.
Chopra is from the Brigade of the Guards and has a very
distinguished career.
A post graduate from the DSSC Camberlay (UK), Chopra has
completed important courses like the Higher Command Course and
held coveted appointments with distinction, the release said.
