New Delhi: Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday met President-elect Pranab Mukherjee and congratulated him on being elected to the top post.
Banerjee, who will be attending tomorrow`s function for the swearing-in of Mukherjee as the next President, drove to his Talkatora Road residence straight from the Delhi airport soon after her arrival from Kolkata.
Sources close to the West Bengal Chief Minister said Mukherjee thanked her during their interaction.
