Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat here.
"Modi paid a courtesy call and met Bhagwat at the RSS headquarters in Maninagar," RSS sources said.
Bhagwat was visiting the city today.
RSS`s backing is believed to have been instrumental in Modi`s nomination as BJP`s prime ministerial candidate.
The meeting lasted for more than 40 minutes, sources said.
