Mumbai: Police today questioned two sons of
businessman Shahbaz Khan who was deplaned from an Emirates flight suspecting him of a terrorist, amidst allegations of family dispute over a property, but failed to get any
breakthrough in the case.

Aslam Khan (34) and Arif Khan (39) were summoned to
police station and inquired today but there was no
breakthrough yet in the case, said P Chinchalkar, Police
Inspector at Sahar Airport Police Station.

The Dubai-bound Emirates flight carrying 356 passengers
were grounded at Mumbai for four hours yesterday before take
off after the airline`s office received a phone call from a
person claiming that sixty-year-old Khan was a Lashkar-e-Toiba operative.

The caller had identified himself as one Suresh Chavan
but Khan`s family alleged that his sons could be behind the
act because they had a property dispute.

After being questioned for hours, Khan was let off late
last night as nothing suspicious was found to indicate he was
a terrorist, police added.

"Both Aslam and Arif have claimed that they had not made
any calls. We got details of their whereabouts at the time of
incident," the officer said.

"We are probing the matter from all angles and do not
want to speculate anything," said Chinchalkar, responding to a
query.
