New Delhi: The government on Friday said that the South-West Monsoon is expected to be satisfactory this year.
Food Minister KV Thomas said while the Monsoon would be satisfactory, below
normal rain is likely in southern states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The forecast has come as a ray of hope for several drought-affected states.
