Madurai: Southern Railway on Monday announced they
would run special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers
during the ensuing Pongal festival season.
It said the Chennai Central Nagercoil Special would leave
Chennai Central at 2230 hrs on January 13 and arrive at
Nagercoil at 1400 hrs the next day.
The Nagercoil Chennai Central Superfast Special will
leave Nagercoil at 1240 hrs on Jan 17 and arrive Chennai
Central at 0330 hrs the next day, a railway release said.
It said Chennai Central Nagercoil Superfast Special will
leave Chennai Central at 2000 hrs on Jan 14 and arrive at
Nagercoil at 1100 hrs the next day. in the return direction
it will leave Nagercoil at 1940 hrs and arrive at Chennai
Central at 1040 hrs the next day.
