New Delhi: The BJP on Wednesday hit out at the UPA government, accusing it of commercialising coalition politics.

Addressing the press at Surajkund in Faridabad, on the outskirts of the national capital, where the BJP’s national executive is meeting today, senior party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said people are suffering because of government’s stinking corruption.

UPA is a sinking ship, Prasad said, adding it is not the BJP’s duty to save this collapsing government.

UPA government is independent India’s most corrupt government, he said.

Prasad noted that contrary to popular perception in the wake of its opposition to FDI in retail, the BJP was not opposed to reforms.

The BJP leader also targeted the government for misusing CBI, stating the UPA government has disregard for constitutional bodies.

He further said that the government was not serious about bringing back black money.
