The app is called FindFace and was developed by 26-year-old Artem Kukharenko and 29-year-old Alexander Kabakov in Russia.
With the help of this app, one can easily find someone's social media profiles just by taking a picture of their face.
Once you take a picture of the person in public, you can find out all the information about them that they have provided on their social media networks, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
As of now the app is now not operational with Facebook but works with social network, Vkontakte which is popular in Russia. It has been downloaded 500,000 times.
The app has been used to track down criminals through CCTV footage.
