Arunachal Pradesh Congress completes election

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh is the first
state where ruling Congress completed ongoing organisational
elections from booth level to district level, Virendra Bakshi,
pradesh returning officer said here today.

Addressing a press conference Bakshi said the election
results of all blocs, 16 districts Congress Committees and the
state capital city Congress committee elections would be
submitted to the high command in a day or two.

The 80 AICC members from the state will elect the
Pradesh Congress chief and he will announce the date for the
election shortly when he returns from New Delhi after
submission of the list to the High Command.
