Gangtok: A housewife was drowned in the Rangeet river at Majhiagaon in Jorethang South Sikkim, police said Monday.
40-year-old Sashi Mukhia, a resident of Majhigaon was washed away by the strong current of the Rangeet river while disposing kitchen waste this morning, the sources said.
