Imphal: A self-styled `lieutenant` of Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup (KYKL) identified as Joshinto Meitei was arrested by security forces from a place in Bishenpur district of Manipur, police sources said on Friday.
Sources said personnel of 18th Sikh Regiment following reports of movement of militants launched a massive manhunt at Utlou area in the district yesterday.
During the search operation, Meitei was arrested along with a 9 mm pistol and four rounds of ammunition, sources said adding that he has been handed over to nearby Nambol police station.
