Agartala: Three insurgents of outlawed National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) have surrendered to Assam Rifles, in two separate occasion in Longterai valley sub-division of Dhalai district, police on Sunday said.
Two ultras have surrendered at Manikpur village and deposited one revolver, one hand grenade and many live cartridges and one magazine yesterday.
They were identified as Subhash Tripura and Romsrai Reang.
One more insurgent, identified as Piyajoy Tripura surrendered to Assam Rifles at Dronakumarpara on the same day.
He did not deposit any arm or ammunition.
