Two BSF jawans killed, another injured

Two BSF jawans were killed and another injured when a BSF jawan in an inebriated condition fired indiscriminately at Rajbari border outpost in South Tripura district.

Tripura district, police said on Thursday.

A BSF jawan of 89 battalion, Dhananjoy Kumar, who was in
inebriated condition suddenly opened indiscriminate firing
killing two jawans on the spot and injuring another on Tuesday
night, DIG, Police Control, Nepal Das said.

The deceased were identified as Sanjoy Kumar and Anil
Kumar.

The injured, Md Aslam Ali has been admitted to Raisyabari
hospital in the district whose condition was stated to be
critical.

Das said immediately after the incident, the inebriated
jawan was overpowered and disarmed.

DG BSF Raman Srivastav had on Wednesday visited the border
outpost at Rajbari.
