Orissa Police nabs mastermind of SSE question paper leakage

Orissa Police claims to have nabbed the mastermind of question paper leakage of the Staff Selection Examination of 2008, who was wanted by the CBI from a place about 50 km from here.

Bhadrak (Orissa): Orissa Police claims to have nabbed the mastermind of question paper leakage of the Staff Selection Examination of 2008, who was wanted by the CBI from a place about 50 km from here.

Hrusihkesh Parida (34) of Balbhadraprasad village under Nayankadi police station limit, nearly 50 km from here, was nabbed by the police last night. Parida was wanted by the CBI, in connection with the the question paper leakage case of Staff Selection Examination, police sources said.

"We had been tracing the accused for last 15-days. At last Parida was nabbed when he was at the local market," said Sarojini Singh, the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Nayakandi police station.

Staff Selection Examination for recruitment in the post of Income tax inspector was held in 2008. The question paper was being printed at a press in Kolkota where Hrusikesh was working as a composer. He was mastermind of the leakage case, the IIC, said.

The question paper leakage case was handed over to CBI in 2010 for investigation. "The CBI gave us physical requisition to nab Hrusikesh on September 26, said the IIC.

"We have handed over the accused to CBI inspector Sanjay Mukharji who had reached hear today to take him in remand," the IIC said.
