Keonjhar (Odisha): Two persons were killed and 11 seriously injured when a jeep hit a tree in Odisha`s Keonjhar district on Tuesday, police sources said.
The jeep carrying members of a selp-help group from Riamal area of Deogarh district was going to Ghatagaon when it hit the tree near Bankapatuli near here on the National Highway No 215, the sources said.
The injured were taken to the district headquarters hospital here while some were later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.
