Amritsar: Right wing group Dal Khalsa on Sunday demanded that the Centre remove the name of its leader Gajinder Singh from the list of 20 most-wanted terrorists whom India has asked Pakistan to hand over.
"It was totally unjustified and against all canons of jurisprudence," outfit`s president H S Dhami said at a press conference after a book authored by Singh was "released" here.
Singh was convicted by a Pakistan special court in the 1981 hijacking of an Indian Airlines plane. Since his release from Pakistani prison in 1995, he is staying in that country.
The compilation of poems titled Supne ton Sangarsh val (From Dream to Struggle) was released in the presence of SGPC executive member Karnail Singh Panjoli and others.
