Special passport court for women

Jalandhar: The regional passport office
in Jaladhar will organise a special passport court for women on
International Women`s Day to hear their grievances regarding
delay in issuance of passports.

The hearing will be held on March 8 at the passport
office from 10 am to 5 pm, Jalandhar passport officer
Parneet Singh said.

The court will also hear the complaints received by
Women`s Grievances Redressal Cell, which has been recently
constituted by the the passport office.

The applicants who wish to bring their grievances to
the special court are required to register themselves by
February 28, Singh said.

The registration for the same can also be made through
email or phone.
