Hoshiarpur: A teenage girl was allegedly raped by a youth of her village while she had gone out, police said on Saturday.
The victim, a resident of Denowal Khurd village here, has lodged a complaint alleging that she was intercepted on the way by the youth named Major, who forcibly took her to a room and raped her, police said.
A case has been registered against the youth under various sections of the IPC and hunt is on to nab the absconding accused, they said.
