Two pilgrims died in road accident

Two pilgrims died and three others were seriously injured when their car collided with a truck near here, police said.

near here, police said on Wednesday.

The pilgrims have been identified as Rajinder Singh, the
driver of the car and Shinder Kaur -- both residents of
village Sireawala in Bathinda district.

The pilgrims were on their way last night to pay
obeisance at Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib near Taran Taran.
Their vehicle collided head-on with a truck loaded with
sand near a power grid, four kms from here on the Moga
Kotkapura road, police said.
