Bundi: A bank manager has been arrested
by Anti-Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting a bribe of
Rs 1,500 here to clear a loan application, police said on Thursday.
Suresh Kumar Mangal, Manager of Gendoli Baroda Rural
Rajasthan Bank, was arrested yesterday while he was accepting
the bribe in a loan case, Additional Superintendent of Police
Jassaram said.
Ramprakesh, resident of Bhatiya ki Jhopidya village, had
applied for a loan of Rs 25,000 from the bank around 10 days
ago. He said that the bank manager allegedly demanded a bribe
of Rs 1,500 to clear his loan application.
