Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed the police to undertake a state-level campaign to curb fraud cases like the Rs 300 crore scam involving marketing company Gold Sukh.
Chairing a meeting last night to review the Gold Sukh fraud case, Gehlot asked the officials to keep a strict watch on such fake companies and their activities.
He instructed the senior officials to set up a special cell in Jaipur and Jodhpur police commissionerate and to follow legitimate procedure after examining law to deal with such cases.
MoS Home Virendra Beniwal, DGP Harish Meena, Deputy Police Commissioner (Jaipur-South) Jose Mohan were among the officials present in the meeting.
The Gold Sukh company here has allegedly duped thousands of investors of around 300 crore. The police have so far arrested 13 accused in the matter.
