Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Wednesday said
state gazetted officers will not get annual salary hike if
they fail to declare their assets.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot here.
Aiming at making the system more transparent, the
Rajasthan Government in April had issued an order, directing
all state gazetted officers to declare their assets.
The cabinet also approved a proposal related to the
execution of the recommendation of a three-member ministerial
sub-committee which had negotiated with agitating medical
teachers, demanding better pay package.
After the approval, the grade pay for senior professor
would be Rs 10,000 from current grade pay of Rs 8,900. Also
three promotions will be given to a medical lecturer within a
time period of 14 years without the compulsion of availability
of vacant posts.
The government also increased the current Non-Practice
Allowance (NPA) of doctors to 25 per cent from 20 per cent.
"Now the private practice fee for assistant professor
will be Rs 100, for associate professor Rs 125, for professor
Rs 150 and for senior professor Rs 200 per visit. A committee
will be constituted for other issues related to private
practice," an official said.
