Protest in Pak against kidnapping of Hindu girls

A number of activists alleged a conspiracy has been hatched to expel the Hindu community from Sindh.

Karachi: A number of activists of different civil society organisations staged a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club against the kidnapping and forced conversion of Hindu girls in Sindh.

The Human Rights Club, Young Hindu Forum, Minority Commission of Pakistan, Awami Jamhoori Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Hindu Council, Aurat Foundation and other organisations’ members joined the demonstration.

The demonstrators alleged a conspiracy has been hatched to expel the Hindu community from Sindh, The Daily Times reports.

They demanded a probe into the kidnapping and forced conversion of Rinkal Kumari and several other such cases and added that the perpetrators should be bought to book.

They also demanded the recovery of a victim, Aasha Kumari, who was kidnapped from Jacobabad about 40 days ago.
