Tamil Nadu unit of BJP on Friday urged the government to intensify the steps for checking terrorists activities in the state and thanked the police for the arrest of three suspects recently.

The confession by "Police" Fakruddin, one of the arrested terror suspect, has brought to light the terrorists role in the murder of some Hindu outfit leaders, state BJP vice president H Raja told reporters here.

Raja, also a member of the BJP National Executive, said the issue of forging alliance with other parties in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha election would be decided by the party high command in December after the upcoming assembly polls in five states.

Being a convener for Tamil Nadu Manifesto Committee for Lok Sabha polls, Raja met various sections of people such as industrialists, farmers, traders and common man and discussed problems faced by them.
