Four new Madras HC judges sworn in

The number of judges in the Madras High Court and its Madurai bench rose to 53 today after four judges were sworn in as Additional Judges of the Madras High Court.

judges were sworn in as Additional Judges of the Madras High
Court.

K Ravichandra Babu, P Devadoss, S Vimala and R Karuppiah
were sworn in as Additional Judges at the High Court premises
here.

They were administered the oath of office by Chief Justice
M Y Eqbal. Earlier, the High Court Registrar General read out
the Presidential notification appointing them as Additional
Judges of the High Court.

Members of various advocate associations felicitated them
on their appointment.
