Jaya inaugurates police, fire dept residential complexes

Jayalalithaa inaugurated the CB-CID complex at Egmore here which is constructed at the erstwhile Chennai Police Commissioner office premises.

The sprawling, four-storeyed building, constructed at an estimated Rs 10.17 crore, will house a number of wings of the CB-CID, an official release said.
Later the Chief Minister inaugurated through video-conferencing police stations, residential and official complexes of Police and Fire and Rescue Department constructed at various places in the state at a cost of Rs 113.31 crore, the release added.
