Solidarity march of cultural leaders stopped at Ker-TN border

Thiruvananthapuram: A `solidarity march` by cultural leaders from Kerala to Kundamkulam in Tamil Nadu in support of activists agitating against Kundamkulam Nuclear Power plant was stopped at Kaliyakavila on the state border on Sunday, police said.

The march, inaugurated by noted poet and environmental activist Sugathakumari at Parasalla, was stopped when it reached Kaliyakavila, they said.

About 100 persons, including literateur Sara Joseph and social activists K Ajitha and P R B Bhasker participated in the march.
