Muzaffarnagar: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at gunpoint in Mohiuddinpur village here, police said.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl had gone out to relieve herself when a youth named Lal forcibly dragged her to nearby fields and raped her, they said.
Lal who belonged to a different community also threatened to kill the girl if the incident was disclosed to anyone, police added.
The victim`s father has lodged an FIR against the culprit, they said, adding, the victim has been sent for medical examination.
Security has also been beefed up in the village after the incident, police said.
