Ghaziabad: In a case of honour killing, a
boy was murdered allegedly by a girl`s brother in Hapur city,
police said.
Body of Sonu, resident of Ganesh Pura and an employee
in a private factory, was found in a jungle of Asodha village
yesterday, SP (Rural) M M Beg said.
Sonu was in love with 23-year-old Savitri, working
with him. The match was opposed by the girl`s family members.
On Sunday night, Sonu was called by the girl`s brother
also known as Sonu for a party where he along with his three
friends strangled him to death and later also attacked him
with a sharp weapon.
All the accused Sonu (girl`s brother), Pawan, Subash
and Sumit were arrested.
The accused were today produced before the magistrate
where they confessed to their crime and sent to 14 days
judicial custody.
