Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh
Yadav on Tuesday exhorted his partymen to encourage people to come
out for voting in the next year`s Uttar Pradesh Assembly
elections.
"The common man is fed up with the present government,
which has done nothing for them. If you can ensure that
maximum number of people turn out for voting, no one can stop
formation of the Samajwadi Party government in the state,"
Yadav said while addressing party men here.
"Despite low literacy, 65 per cent of voters used to
exercise their voting rights. Now the polling percentage is
falling even as the number of educated people has increased,"
the SP leader said.
Yadav also directed his party workers to see that that
there were no discrepancies in the poll list.
