Allahabad: Spurious liquor claimed three
lives this evening in a remote part of the district.
All the deaths have been reported from localities falling
under Mauaima police station of the district's trans-Ganga
region, 40 kms from here, Circle Officer Akhilesh Narain Singh
said.
The trio returned to their respective homes with pouches
of liquor and fell sick within minutes of consuming it, the
official said quoting family of the deceased aged between
35-40.
They died before they could be taken to a hospital, Singh
said.
