Missing girl found murdered in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: Body of a girl, who went missing on August 6, was found on the Ganga canal road under Khatoli police station in the district here, police said on Tuesday.

Priyanka (19) went missing on August 6 and her body was found yesterday, they said.

Police suspect that the girl was raped and later murdered.

A case has been registered against unidentified assailants and investigation is on, they said.

rape has been common practice for the criminals in the state of uttar pradesh. it seems that state of uttar pradesh has been safe haven for rapists as no solid and strong steps are being taken by the state machinery to curb incidences of rape . government of uttar pradesh is making procrastinating efforts to conceal its inefficiecy like legislating new laws for speedy disposal of rape cases. whether any rapist has been punished if not then why. we are not getting any signal from any quarter that rape cases would be dealt sternly except to some election retorics. even after the interference of judiciary and commission , state government only said that commissions are not taking interest congres ruled states. mayawati ji only interested in congres ruled states not in uttar pradesh.
