Muzaffarnagar: Delhi-based advocate Bharat Vir Tomar, main accused in the abduction and murder case of a policeman, was Friday sent to five days of police custody by a local court here.
Tomar had allegedly abducted and murdered head constable
Shakir Ali on April 3 after he opposed an illicit relationship
between his wife Reshma and Tomar.
The advocate was later arrested in Delhi and sent to
judicial custody. The victim`s wife Reshma was also arrested
on April 19 for her alleged involvement in the killing of her
husband.
