Probe ordered into leak of question paper of CEE for BED

The new date for the examination has now been fixed for
May 19.

Directives have been issued to the district magistrates
concerned to constitute teams under their supervision for
carrying out inquiries in the presence of representatives of
the printing press, secretary, higher education, Anil Sant
said here.

The inquiry teams would check the seals of the packets of
question papers and answer sheets, Sant said adding, in case
of any anomaly, the DMs would report it immediately to the
government.

The Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, that is
conducting the examination, has been asked to instruct the
printing press concerned to cooperate with the probe, Sant
said.

The examination, which was scheduled to be held today,
was cancelled after the leakage of the question paper.

Police has arrested four persons in Farukkhabad along
with computerised and handwritten copies of the B.Ed exam.

Around 6.92 lakh aspirants were scheduled to appear in
the examination to be held in 12 districts of the state.
