Amethi: AICC General Secretary Rahul
Gandhi on Friday met families of the victims of a recent road
accident that claimed 14 lives here.
The Amethi MP arrived in his constituency on a two-day
visit to meet people and review various development schemes.
The Congress leader, after landing at the Lucknow
airport, travelled directly to Pahadpur village to meet the
affected families.
Fourteen people were killed and 30 others injured in
the accident at Saresar village on April 11.
Rahul inquired about the injured and assured the
affected families of all help. He also offered to provide
treatment to those injured at the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in
Munshiganj.
He will also be visiting families of victims and
injured in Ramdeen ka Purwa, Inderia and Jagdishpur.
The Congress leader will take a night-halt in
Munshiganj guest house.
