Rapid Action Force deployed at Upper Ganga Canal

The district administration has deployed RAF at Upper Ganga Canal in Muradnagar to avoid disruption of water supply to Delhi after Jats demanding reservation threatened to cut all essential supplies to the national capital.

has deployed Rapid Action Force at Upper Ganga Canal in Muradnagar to avoid disruption of water supply to Delhi after Jats demanding reservation threatened to cut all essential supplies to the national capital if their demand was not met
by March 17.
In a meeting last evening at the Manota village near
Muradnagar, which was followed by a peaceful march, the Jat
All India Reservation Committee decided to cut the supply of
all essential commodities, including food, water and oil, to
Delhi after March 17, if the Central government do not accede
to their demands.

Agitators also plan to block the supply of oil from
Mathura refinery to Delhi. Supply of vegetables and milk
besides, other food products to the national capital may also
be affected.
District Magistrate Hredesh Kumar said the agitators
will not be allowed to disturb water supply or take law in
their hand.

Nobody will be allowed to come at the regulator for
disrupting water supply, said Senior Superintendent of Police
Raghubir Lal.
